KUALA LUMPUR: Mah Sing Group Bhd is confident in launching more projects this year in addition to looking for suitable land that can replicate the success of the company's M Series residential developments.
Founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said that 2024 is off to a good start with the company's first topping-out at M Luna, which marks the completion of Towers A and B's structures.
He said that M Luna has achieved a 100 per cent take-up rate.
According to Leong, M Luna is among Mah Sing's most proud residential developments, having achieved three million man-hours without a lost time injury and the highest Safety and Health Assessment in Construction score of 94.02 percent.
In addition to being the tallest residential development in Kepong, M Luna is also the tallest project in the company's portfolio to date.
The 57-storey towers, with a total of 1,672 two- to four-bedroom units, are scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year.
The project, which has a gross development value (GDV) of about RM705 million, is currently around 83.5 per cent complete.
"We are proud to celebrate the key milestone of M Luna. M Luna garnered favourable feedback, providing additional evidence that our projects are meticulously planned with a focus on prime locations in well-established neighbourhoods.
"The 100 per cent take-up of M Luna is a testament to our commitment to consistently meeting market expectations in terms of both product quality and pricing. Our affordable M Series have been receiving good take-up rates due to the attractive price points, practical layouts, facilities, and good locations," Leong said.
Mah Sing launched M Nova in August of last year as a result of the demand that M Luna created in the Kepong area.
M Nova is situated close to the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) and adjacent to Kepong Metropolitan Park.
With an estimated GDV of roughly RM790 million, M Nova is made up of three blocks of serviced apartments with three layouts: 700 square feet with two bedrooms, 850 square feet with three bedrooms, and 1,000 square feet with four bedrooms. Prices start at RM328,000.
There are 11 retail lot units and one drive-through retail space included in this mixed development.
"M Luna's complete sell-out has prompted homebuyers to turn their attention to M Nova, as they realise they can experience the same exceptional living environment," Leong added.
Homebuyers responded positively to M Nova, as evidenced by the take-up rate of 90 per cent of its 624-unit Tower A during a single weekend.
Owing to the tremendous response, Tower B is currently open for sale.
