BANGKOK: Former BA of Malaysia (BAM) coach Park Joo Bong says success is tied to motivation and the will to work extremely hard.
Last week, the South Korean, the head coach of Japan, led his men and women’s teams to the finals of the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup.
Japan’s Uber Cup team won the title while the men’s team lost in the Thomas Cup final.

"Hard programmes. Very hard programes," said the former Olympic gold medallist.
"But I give it to the players and coaches, who have always been motivated.
"Despite the tough programme, they work hard and give everything they have.
"Both teams played really well, unfortunately, the men's team couldn't finish off with a win as they were not really good in the doubles department. We will have to work on it," said Joo Bong.
