As expected, Zii Jia thrashed Mourinho Zefi Costa Gusmao De Jesus of Timor Leste 21-0, 21-7, while Jin Wei outplayed Vietnam's Vu Thi An Thu 21-10, 21-13.
Zii Jia will likely face reigning world champion Kunlavut Vitidsarn of Thailand next.
Jin Wei, meanwhile, will likely take on Indonesia's Gregoria Mariska Tunjung for a spot in the quarter-finals tomorrow.
