TRACK cyclist Anis Amira Rosidi is keen to keep progressing following an impressive season on the international stage this year.
The sprint specialist, whose favourite event is the keirin, started her season with two gold medals at the Taiwan Track Cup in May, followed by a bronze in the Ascoli Piceno GP in Italy in July.
The 21-year-old then earned one gold at the China Track Cup in August and a bronze at the Asian Championships in South Korea in October.
Anis also posted some excellent times in recent legs of the World Cup series.
The Melbourne-based rider believes she is capable of more.
“I am quite satisfied with my recent results as I had managed to lower my personal best in the 200m sprint.
“I believe that if we focus on the process, then the outcome will take care of itself. I will work harder in the bid to improve,” said Anis.
Fatehah Mustapa, who suffered a dip in form in recent seasons, is starting to rediscover her old form.
Fatehah and Anis showed strong potential when they paired up in the team sprint and won bronze at the Asian meet this year.
Anis is part of the Sime Darby Foundation Track Cycling team which also features Fadhil Zonis and Shah Firdaus Sahrom.
