KUALA LUMPUR: Four teams were docked six points each for failure to settle their outstanding debts on Tuesday.
Football Malaysia LLP (FMLLP) chief executive officer Kevin Ramalingam said Super League's Kelantan and T-Team along with Premier League's Armed Forces and Perlis have been given reminders since January to pay their debts from previous seasons.
"The four teams have failed to settle players' salaries, apart from income tax and Socso payments and Employees’ Provident Fund contribution.
"Transfer bans will be imposed on the four teams if they fail to settle their debts before the mid-season transfer window opens on May 15," said Kevin on Tuesday.
FMLLP warned that the four risk demotion in the following season if they are still in the red by Oct 31.
