Lee Tuck wants a memorable outing in Malaysia Cup final

KUALA TERENGGANU: After toppling defending champions Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT), Terengganu are now looking to make Perak their next victim in the Malaysia Cup final.

Midfielder Lee Tuck is eager to help Terengganu win only their second Malaysia Cup crown at the Shah Alam Stadium on Saturday.

"Our mission is not complete yet. We need to get ready for Perak. It will be our fifth meeting with Perak this year.

"The final will surely be different as on a personal basis, I want it to be a historical outing for myself.

“It will be a special occasion as my dad, and (two) brothers will fly down from England to Kuala Lumpur to watch the final," said the England-born player whose forefathers are from Malaysia.

In previous meetings this year, Perak and Terengganu each notched two wins against each other in the Super League and Malaysia Cup.

Terengganu came from behind from 2-0 down to draw with JDT 2-2 in the semi-final return leg last weekend at the Larkin Stadium for a 3-2 aggregate win.

Lee Tuck, who will become a father next year, said the win against JDT has given motivation to his teammates.

“We did not panic even though we were 2-0 down against JDT last weekend. Instead, we kept creating chances and managed to score two goals.

"This would be our strength in the final as well," Lee Tuck added
