THE Negri Sembilan FA (NSFA) are furious with the Professional Footballers Association of Malaysia (PFAM) for their “irresponsible” statement.
An angry NSFA secretary Satwant Singh yesterday demanded that PFAM show proof of their allegations.
He said NSFA are disappointed and upset with PFAM for their “damaging” ac tion.
According to Satwant, NSFA did owe their Brazilian player, Alex Moraes, some salary arrears but the outstanding amount was already settled recently.
He demanded that PFAM show proof that NSFA “still owe money” within 24 hours, failing which a public apology should be issued.
“If not, we will consult our lawyers for the next course of action,” said Satwant.
“NSFA do not owe any of their players from the Super League, President’s Cup and Youth Cup salaries.
“The July salaries were settled on July 29.
“PFAM’s statement has damaged Negri’s reputation and being labelled as among the 12 problematic teams is humiliating.
“NSFA advise PFAM to update their records before issuing damaging statements about the teams.”
