Thailand-based players’ agency, Pro24 Sports Management, have taken legal action against national striker Norshahrul Idlan Talaha for breach of contract.
And Norshahrul cannot return to Malaysia until his case is settled.
The agency have already alerted the Thai tourism police as a measure to stop him from leaving Thailand.
It is alleged that Norshahrul had signed with two agencies, both representing players, when he was about to join Thai club, BG Pathum United.
Singapore-based OffSide Sports Management are also representing the 34-year-old player.
“We do not want to communicate with him as he is an untrustworthy person.
“We only work with honest people.
“We have already sued him.
“We never thought he would do this considering that he is a famous player in Malaysia and is respected by many,” said Pro24 in a statement yesterday.
Pro24 added: “We will do everything we can to teach him about professionalism and honesty.”
