KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia were thrashed 11-0 by Thailand in today's Group A match of the women's Under-17 Asian Cup qualifiers in Buriram.
With the win, Thailand advanced to the second stage of qualifiers.
Thailand scored through Rinyaphat Moondong (seventh minute), Prichakorn Kruecheunchom (16th, 18th and 46th), Chirarak Khamtan (11th and 58th), Pinyaphat Klinklai (64th and 74th), Achiraya Yingsakul (39th), Madison Casteen (48th) and Phatcharaphorn Khuchuea (84th).
Malaysia finished second in the group with one win. They defeated Northern Mariana Islands 5-1 on Wednesday.
