LYON: Centre Damian Penaud and Fijian-born winger Alivereti Raka on Friday extended their contracts with French champions Clermont by three years.
It was a first professional contract for the duo, Clermont said.
Penaud, 20, has been flagged as a rising star in French rugby, playing a big role in Clermont’s run-in to last year’s title and also winning two caps for France against South Africa on the summer tour.
Raka, 22, has been at Clermont since 2015 and has scored 13 tries in his 25 matches for the Top 14 club. — AFP
