KUALA LUMPUR: China added another four gold medals on day six of the Asian Games (as of 3pm) to bring their overall tally to 94 gold, 55 silver and 23 bronze, totalling 175 medals.
The Chinese team won two titles in athletics and one gold each in tennis and shooting.
South Korea are second with 24 gold, 24 silver and 41 bronze for a total of 89 medals.
Trailing South Korea is Japan in third place with 19 gold, 31 silver and 32 bronze, totalling 82 medals.
India (8-11-12) and Thailand (7-3-9) are fourth and fifth, respectively.
Malaysia, who have won two gold, two silver and five bronze, have not added medals.
