Eain Yow crashes out in Egyptian Open heartbreak

KUALA LUMPUR: World No. 13 Ng Eain Yow's run at the Egyptian Open came to an end on Monday in Giza City.

The Asian champion was outclassed by world No. 2 Paul Coll of New Zealand, suffering an 11-5, 11-6, 11-2 defeat in just 33 minutes in the men's third round.

It was Eain Yow's fourth consecutive loss to the Kiwi on the PSA Tour, and he has yet to win a single game against Coll.

Earlier, world No. 9 S. Sivasangari also bowed out, falling to Egypt's world No. 17 Nada Abbas 5-11, 9-11, 12-10, 11-9, 11-7 in the women's third round.
