Zaidatul smashes national women's 100m record [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: Pint-size sprinter Zaidatul Husniah Zulkifli broke the women's national 100m record by clocking 11.49 seconds in the Perlis Open in Kangar today.

The 31-year-old Kedahan improved the national mark by 0.01 seconds as the previous record of 11.50 was set by G. Shanti in Kuala Lumpur in May, 1993.

Zaidatul, who won two silvers in 100m and 200m in the 2017 KL Sea Games, said: "I finally broke the national record after trying for the last few years."
