FNOP claim M6 world title with straightforward win [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: Fnatic Onic Philippines (FNOP) were crowned Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) World Champions after defeating Team Liquid Indonesia (TLID) 4-1 in the M6 Grand Finals at Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil tonight (Dec 15).

FNOP entered the final as the favourites having already beaten TLID twice previously in the tournament.

And they did not disappoint as FNOP controlled the match from the start before TLID pulled one back in the third game.

FNOP, however, finished the job in the fifth game to ensure that the world title remained in the Philippines.

Filipino teams have won the previous four editions of the M Series World Championship.

"I'm quite happy to keep the M Series World Championship in the Philippines," FNOP head coach Anthony "Ynot" Senedrin told the media during the post-match press conference.

"I'm very proud of my players for defending the title (for the Philippines).

"They worked hard for this title and I'm thankful that I have the pleasure of being their coach."

TLID had broken Malaysian fans' hearts when they defeated Selangor Red Giants in the lower bracket final yesterday.
