KUALA LUMPUR: Prepare for heartbreak ladies, because your favourite bachelor, Datuk Hans Isaac, will finally end his singlehood.
The handsome, 45-year-old actor-producer has found "the one" in model-actress Aileen Gabriella Robinson, 28.
"Before this, I asked the press to give me space when it came to my personal life. (Once I’d) found someone, I promised to share the news," Hans said, appearing somewhat nervous.
"Now, I do have good news, and it's something that I want to share with all of you today," he said when announcing his big day, with Gabriella at his side, at a special press conference at the Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur today.
The couple announced that they will tie the knot on July 29. The church service will take place at 10am at St. John's Cathedral, Jalan Bukit Nanas. The reception will follow in the evening, at the Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
Hans revealed that he proposed to Gabriella on Jan 29 at the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd in Singapore, the same place where his parents had tied the knot.
A creative arts graduate from Melbourne University, Gabriella was crowned Miss Tourism International in 2012.
Besides modelling, she has also starred in Astro's education programme “Oh My English!”, and ran a dance studio where she was a dancer herself.
The couple first met when he was a preliminary judge for Miss Tourism Malaysia in 2011, in which she was a contestant.
"We met again last year and became friends. As time passed, we eventually became closer friends and now we're the best of friends," Hans explained.
Previously, Hans was romantically-linked to several local celebrities, including Neelofa, Erra Fazira and Elaine Daly.
"Gabby and I have been very truthful with each other, and we've decided that we should respect each other no matter what," Hans said.
To this, Gabriella nodded agreement.
"His past relationships don't matter. Everyone has their own past and his has made him who he is today," she said.
The couple is currently planning the wedding reception for 800 family members and close friends.
"Gabby is taking charge of most of the preparations, and I think it's going to be a fun ceremony," said the groom-to-be.
