THE Malaysia Supermodel Search 2024 returns with a renewed focus on emerging talent, featuring both the main competition and the Malaysia Supermodel Search Kids (MSSK) 2024.
The grand finale of MSSK 2024, presented by MyTOWNKL and organised by Runway Productions by Catwalk Guru, will take place on August 18 at MyTOWNKL.
This year's MSSK promises to spotlight young models aged four to 12, providing a platform to demonstrate their poise and potential.
The partnership with MyTOWNKL highlights the shopping centre's dedication to offering family-friendly experiences and supporting up-and-coming designers and brands.
Influencers such as TikTok personality Jayden Chong and Japanese content creators Kazu and Sora will lend their support to the event.
Runway Productions, led by renowned catwalk expert Benjamin Toong, will be responsible for selecting the top KOLs for the MSSK runway show.
Leading up to the finale, MyTOWNKL will host a series of workshops from Aug 13 to 16 at Central Town, Ground Floor.
These sessions will cover various aspects of fashion and modelling, including:
Beauty Make Up (Aug 13, 12pm): Learn the latest trends and techniques from Backstage Academy.
Creative Hairstyling (Aug 14, 12pm): Discover new hairstyles and styling tips from Hair Atelier.
Vogue Posing (Aug 15, 12pm): Perfect posing techniques with guidance from Benjamin Toong.
Chic Catwalking (Aug 16, 12pm): Gain insights into professional modelling with Benjamin Toong.
The event will also feature fashion showcases from institutions, including Raffles College of Higher Education, Equator College Penang, UCSI University and Taylor's University Design School.
Additional highlights include makeup demonstrations by Backstage Makeup Academy, bridal fashion by For Her and a creative hair show by Hair Atelier.
Finalists will have the chance to collaborate with notable brands such as Swarovski, Decathlon, MUJI, NEXT, MAX Fashion, PONEY, Azloft, SuiSui, Katetu and BENT for Vietnam International Junior Fashion Week, marking an important milestone in their modelling careers.
As the grand finale approaches, the public is invited to attend and experience the excitement and talent of these young models at MyTOWNKL.
