Magnitude 5.2 quake hits East Kalimantan, no tsunami risk

JAKARTA: Magnitude 5.2 quake hit Indonesia's province of East Kalimantan on land and there was no potential of tsunami, the country's geophysics agency said on Sunday.

The quake's epicentre was 146 km to the southeast of the province, near Berau region and 10 km deep, the agency said.

There was no immediate report of damages or casualties.
