AmBank BizRACE: Finalists undergo special training

THE 100 finalists for the Season 2 of the AmBank BizRACE recently participated in a business simulation training called MonsoonSIM and an experiential business training called the InsideRisk.

The group is partially banking on BizRace to boost AmBank BizCLUB business-to-business marketplace to attract entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

“AmBank BizCLUB is a business community that offers a suite of knowledge, networking, and media support to each SME that is eager to upscale and take its business to the next level,” said Ambank Group business banking managing director Christopher Yap.

MonsoonSIM is an experiential learning approach about business, economic fundamentals, operations, enterprise resource planning and business concepts.

The programme enabled participants to learn and apply the concepts in 12 different departments of a typical business and improve their leadership skills.

The training was held in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia’s Azman Hashim International Business School.

The second training programme, InsideRisk, is a unique initiative aimed at enhancing the participants’ ability to think critically, where they were immersed in an interactive experience incorporating film, multimedia and live facilities InsideRisk is part of IMD Switzerland’s High Performance Leadership. IMD has been ranked first in “Top Open Programmes Worldwide” by the Financial Times.
