KUALA LUMPUR: Hap Seng Consolidated Bhd has completed the construction of its latest flagship office development here.
Menara Hap Seng 3, a 26-storey tower, was officially opened on Tuesday with Tokio Marine Insurans (Malaysia) Bhd as its anchor tenant.
"Tokio Marine has selected Menara Hap Seng 3 to be the location of choice for its new headquarters in Malaysia," Hap Seng said in a statement.
The tower comprises five levels of retail and F&B podium, 20 floors of office spaces as well as an exciting rooftop F&B location, sitting on top of six levels of basement parking.
Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, a world-renowned American architecture firm, was the designer for Menara Hap Seng 3.
"This has successfully lead Menara Hap Seng 3 to become an aesthetically pleasing yet very functional commercial building that also meets top-notch industry standards with compliance of Grade-A office building, GBI certification, LEED Gold Certification and MSC zone,' Hap Seng said.
Menara Hap Seng 3 marks the completion of the Menara Hap Seng commercial building series as part of Hap Seng's iconic landmark in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
The buildings are connected with link-bridges and coverage that stretches from Jalan Sultan Ismail right up to Jalan Tengah along Jalan P Ramlee.
Hap Seng said it would be ready to launch its first flagship industrial development in the strategic hub of Seksyen 23, Shah Alam in the first quarter of 2021.
Targeted at businesses that require warehousing or manufacturing/showroom space with quick access to the Federal Highway, the mix industrial/commercial development offers detached and semi-detached units for industrial offices, flatted warehouse and a commercial centre on a 20-acre plot.
