KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Bhd's automotive unit, Sime Darby Motors Sdn Bhd has commenced a tender exercise for the sale of its 10.13-acre of freehold land in Kota Bayuemas, Klang, Selangor.
In a statement released today, Sime Darby Motors' subsidiary Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC) said the tender exercise for the vacant development land began today until October 9, 2020.
Sime Darby said Jones Lang Wooton has been appointed to manage the sale via open tender and has prepared a detailed information memorandum for distribution on the exercise.
"The offer is open to all potential purchasers (tenderers) as they are invited to register their expressions of interest and obtain the detailed information memorandum from Jones Lang Wooton," it said in a statement today.
Sime Darby Motors said all tender bids must be submitted in the tender box located at the corporate office of Sime Darby Auto ConneXion Sdn Bhd at Level 3, Block 2, Sime Darby Motors City, Pusat Automotif Sime Darby, No 6, Jalan PJU 1A/7, Ara Damansara 43701 Petaling Jaya Selangor.
The parcel of land is located in the vicinity of amenities including the Bayuemas Indoor Bowls Stadium, the Bayuemas Oval Cricket Stadium, schools, a mosque and shopping facilities.
The property is directly accessible from the Lebuhraya Shah Alam (KESAS Highway) exit and is strategically located 8 minutes away from Bandar Bukit Tinggi, and approximately 10 minutes away from the Klang town city centre.
Township developments located nearby include amongst others Bandar Botanic, Ambang Botanic, Bandar Bukit Tinggi and Kota Pendamar. Other housing developments in the vicinity include Bandar Parklands, Bandar Bukit Tinggi, D'Laman and Gravit8.
