KUALA LUMPUR: HSS Engineers Bhd has appointed Tan Sri Ir. Kuna Sittampalam as acting group chief executive officer (GCEO) with immediate effect.
This follows the four-week suspension of its GCEO Datuk Ir. Nitchiananthan Balasubramaniam effective on the same date.
HSS Engineers, in a statement today, said its board of directors had initiated the suspension of the GCEO to facilitate commencement of independent investigations into allegations made against him over his conduct in managing the company's affairs but not pertaining to anybreaches of fiduciary duty.
""Operationally, it is business as usual in the group, as the respective teams remain committed to project delivery.
"Tan Sri Ir. Kuna Sittampalam would be supported by the existing core senior management team at the group," it added.
