KUALA LUMPUR: Impiana Hotels Bhd has bagged a five-year contract to manage the operational matters of Petronas Leadership Centre in Bangi, Selangor.
The regional hospitality operator said its subsidiary Impiana Hotels & Resorts Management Sdn Bhd (IHRM) had today received a letter of award (LoA) from Petronas Management Training Sdn Bhd (PMTSB), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) for the contract.
"The scope of work includes general and administration matters, food and beverage services, housekeeping, room and banqueting services, finance and human resources management as well as other hospitality works," it said.
Impianan said this would allow Petronas to bring a premium hospitality experience into Petronas Leadership Centre's learning facilities.
It was the only leadership centre in Malaysia that catered for about 50,000 employees globally, it said.
The contract started from August 1, 2021.
Impiana executive chairman Datuk Seri Ismail @Farouk Abdullah said the company was pleased to receive the LoA from PMTSB.
"The team is excited and ready to demonstrate its hospitality management expertise in this very first academic institution.
"Together with PMTSB, we look forward to building a conducive learning environment and serving the new campus," said Ismail.
