KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) has announced the second year of its productivity grant, now enhanced with the introduction of the ezBE assessment tool.
These initiatives reflect MPC's steadfast dedication to enhancing productivity and strengthening business competitiveness at the firm level, aligning with the corporation's mission to cultivate a high-performing and competitive economy.
At a recent briefing attended by 50 participants from 44 companies, Dr. Noor Aishah Hassan, director of MPC Pahang, highlighted the transformative potential of these programmes:
The productivity grant and ezBE assessment tool are designed to unlock the potential of businesses at the firm level, she said.
"By supporting R&D and equipping companies with innovative self-assessment tools, these initiatives will drive productivity, sustainability, and competitiveness across industries."
Dr. Noor Aishah further noted that the oroductivity grant 2025 and the ezBE assessment tool represent significant opportunities for Malaysian businesses to innovate, grow, and achieve sustainable success.
The productivity grant 2025 aims to accelerate research and development (R&D) by providing up to RM350,000 in funding for projects completed within 12 months.
Applications are open from Jan 6 to Feb 7, 2025, and now encompass seven productivity nexuses: agri-food, tourism, professional services, retail, food and beverage, healthcare services, logistics, and construction. This broader scope highlights MPC's dedication to fostering innovation across diverse sectors.
The ezBE assessment tool is a user-friendly platform designed to help businesses evaluate performance across four critical areas: strategy and leadership, talent management, operational excellence, and customer and product experience. The tool provides instant feedback through a concise 22-question self-assessment, offering actionable insights.
Businesses can also benefit from personalised coaching sessions and advisory consultations through the ezBE programme to address challenges and implement customised productivity enhancements.
"We urge all eligible businesses to seize these opportunities to strengthen their productivity and competitiveness," Dr. Noor Aishah said.
