FITBIT has added a new product to its line of wearables with the launch of Fitbit Ionic. The smartwatch is also a fitness tracker, music player, mobile wallet, GPS running and swimming device.
It is designed to work seamlessly across all of the prominent platforms – Android, iOS and Windows – making it ideal for users who want to choose their smartwatch independently of their smartphone.
In addition to the usual functionality found in similar high-end devices, Fitbit’s smartwatch has a multi-day battery life (up to 4+ days) and incorporates advanced new technology like the relative SpO2 sensor, for estimating blood oxygen levels, and which opens the potential for tracking important new indicators about a wearer’s health, such as sleep apnea in the future.
The smartwatch is available in three stylish colour combinations: silver gray tracker and clasp with blue gray band, smoke gray tracker and clasp with charcoal band, or burnt orange tracker and clasp with slate blue band. It is priced at RM1,399 and available across major retail partners like Harvey Norman, All IT Hypermarket, AONE Plus supplies and services, Best Denki, Timekeeper and Thunder Match Technology.
