#TECH: Realme unveils new gaming phone

KUALA LUMPUR: Realme has launched its new addition to the GT Series, the GT Neo 3, which features improved image quality and screen refresh rate for avid gamers.

The phone is designed with the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G processor, four CortexA78 cores ticking at 2.85Ghz, and four CortezA55 cores at 2.0Ghz, as well as a stable 90 FPS for a seamless performance during in-game battles.

It also has the Dedicated Display Processor that supports interpolating frames and breaks through high frames.

It can detect object motion trajectory through the chip and algorithm that adds motion compensation frame between two frames for improved visual smoothness.

Display-wise, the realme GT Neo 3 sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 94.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio.

Moreover, it has a 120Hz Ultra Smooth Display, HDR 10+ certification, and a 10-bit Colour Display that jumps from the traditional 8-bit for detailed graphics.

MADE FOR GAMING

The realme GT Neo 3 has an 80E SuperDart Charte that juices up the device from 0 to 50 per cent in 12 minutes.

Aside from its 5,000 mAh battery, the phone has a 4,129mm Stainless Steel Vapour Cooling area with a nine-layer heat dissipation structure, covering a 100 per cent core heat source for an upgrade in peak performance and intensive usage.

To make its appearance more attractive, the realme GT Neo 3 has a racing stripe design symbolising their passion for performance and speed.

This is attributed to track legends and inspired by "Le Mans '66 FORD v FERRARI" film which aligns with realme's 'Dare to Leap' philosophy.

The phone comes in Nitro Blue and Sprint White.

PHOTOGRAPHY

The realme GT Neo 3 has a wide-angle triple-camera setup and features a Sony IMX766 sensor.

It also has a 119-degree Ultra Wide-angle camera, a 4cm Macro camera, and a 50MP Primary camera with an F/1.88 Aperture and a 1/1.56-inch Large Sensor Size for a detailed photo and video capturing.

The camera also sports OIS+EIS Dual Stabilisation and FUll Pixel Omnidirectional Focus and comes with improved imaging speeds of night shots by 71.4 per cent from its predecessor. The Nightscape Accelerator has a shortened shooting time of just 0.8 seconds.

AVAILABILITY

The 8+256GB variant will be priced at RM1,799 from June 15 to 17 on Lazada's realme Flagship Store, but the original price is RM2,099.
