KUALA LUMPUR: Bruneian actress Nina Iskandar, 27, is on the mend following the Nov 28 car accident in which she fractured her backbone and injured her lips.

However, she admits that she is still traumatised by the horrific crash along the Federal Highway in Petaling Jaya which wrecked her car beyond repair.

"Thank God I was saved and I'm well on the road to recovery in my hometown of Bandar Seri Begawan," said Nina in a news report yesterday.

"I'm being well taken cared of by my doctors and I hope Netizens refrain from asking me any more questions about the accident for now."

Nina described the accident as a "narrow escape" which could be a blessing in disguise.

"God willing, I'll be back at work in a couple of weeks. I call on my fans to keep praying hard," she said.

Nina whose real name is Nur Akmalina Iskandar was hurt in a collision with two other vehicles along the Federal Highway near the Petaling Jaya Hilton Hotel.
