#Showbiz: 'Porno clip'-linked Zul Ariffin back on Instagram

KUALA LUMPUR: It seems that popular actor Zul Ariffin, who had deactivated his Instagram account close to a month ago, has decided to resume his activities on social media.

The hunky 33-year-old artiste uploaded a photo of himself yesterday, which showcased his latest edgy role in the upcoming film, Talbis Iblis.

He simply captioned the post with: “2020 already?? Hi guys.”

According to news reports, the Sangkar and J Revolusi star’s return online was greeted with joy by his fans.

The post garnered more than 80,300 likes and over 1,200 comments.

One wrote: "Hi! Abang Zul... missed you. Happy 2020.”

Another fan said: "Judo is back! Its been awhile, we really missed you.”

"Eh, Boss is on... Happy New Year Boss, may God ease your troubles,” wrote one more fan.

The dashing celebrity’s sudden online disappearance on Dec 11 had caused quite a stir amongst his fans and followers.

It was believed that Zul had chose to deactivate his IG account after a vulgar video clip that featured an individual allegedly resembling the well-built actor, had been circulating on Twitter.

A statement released by the Zul Ariffin Fan Club (ZAFC) revealed that his IG account, which has 2.6 million followers, had not been hacked into and that the actor had made the decision to take a break from the social media platform for a while.

News reports had also stated that the actor had explained away the offending video clips as “deep fakes.”
