KUALA LUMPUR: Besides making sure that her young sons received all the love and creature comforts, actress Rita Rudaini also teaches them to have empathy and kindness towards animals especially stray cats.
In a video posting she uploaded on Instagram today, her younger son was seen approaching some stray cats with a bag of cat food.
In the caption, the 44-year-old actress wrote: "Everyday on the way to school, I'd make sure that we stop to feed stray cats. I want to teach my children from young to be caring and share what they have with others, even stray animals.
"Besides, it is believed that when a stray cat shows up at your home, it is a sign that God wants us to share our abundance with His other creatures too," she said.
The video received more than 7,000 likes so far and many praised Rita for her love for animals, and teaching good deed to her children, Airit Rayyan Rizqin, 11, and Airit Qaqa Arjuna, 9, to love animals from a young age.
