KUALA LUMPUR: Action hero and wrestling superstar Dwayne Johnson also known by his ring name "The Rock" has found a man who is his spitting image, and works for the police.
This doppelganger of Johnson is Eric Fields, a patrol lieutenant in Alabama, the United States.
Johnson, whose most recent law enforcer role was Luke Hobbs in The Fast And Furious franchise, saw a photo of Fields on social media recently, and gave it his nod of approval by uploading a tweet of his photo and Fields' side by side.
Johnson's tweet read: "Oh wow! The guy on the left is way cooler. Stay safe brother and thank you for your service.
"One day we'll drink and I need to hear all of your Rock stories because I know you got them."
Johnson's tweet garnered over 41,000 likes and was retweeted over 3,000 times.
One Netizen identified as Kris said: "Did you guys do an ancestry DNA test just in case? Cause that would be really funny if you were really long-lost cousins."
Another Netizen, King said: "Put him on your payroll, he could be your actual stunt double."
According to entertainment news portal AL.com, 37-year-old Fields has been working with Alabama's Morgan County Sheriff's Office for 17 years.
Fields admitted that he was honoured to be recognised as Johnson's doppelganger.
"I've been called The Rock's double and it is flattering.
"I can't be anybody but me, but I'm glad I could be part of someone's happiness and laughter," he said.
