KUALA LUMPUR: Bob Lokman's health has taken a turn for the worse since last week.
In a news report yesterday, the 58-year-old actor and lyricist said he had been spending most of his time in bed since he felt tired easily and also had breathing difficulty.
"I feel my heart has become weaker and my stomach is also making me feel uncomfortable due to difficulty going to the toilet.
"I'm not sure what is troubling my health now as I haven't gone to see the doctors. My appointment at Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in Alor Setar is only on March 27," he said.
Bob, who is currently residing in Kelantan, said that he did not go to any nearby clinic as his supply of medications was enough until his next appointment in Kedah.
He said that following his heart procedure using laser last October, seeking medical treatment made him feel somewhat traumatic.
"The procedure was painful. Although I do want to get better, psychologically, I'm also a little distressed from that experience," he admitted.
Bob was admitted to Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital on Oct 1 last year, where doctors found the upper part of his heart was not functioning well.
In December 2020, he had Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy & Defibrillator (CRTD) procedure, also at the same hospital.
