KUALA LUMPUR: British rock band Coldplay has added two additional shows in Singapore for their upcoming concert in January, but tickets for all six shows have been sold out as of today.
Concert organiser Live Nation Singapore took to Twitter on Sunday to announce the fifth show on Jan 30 in addition to the original concert dates on Jan 23, 24, 26 and 27.
After an overwhelming response, the organiser added a "final" concert making it a six-day show.
"Tickets for all six shows are sold out! Due to the overwhelming demand for Coldplay Music Of The Spheres World Tour in Singapore, the sixth and final date was added at the Singapore National Stadium on Jan 31," said the organiser on Twitter and Instagram.
The Grammy-winning band sold over 200,000 tickets to its four shows during the pre-sales period yesterday.
The concert is part Coldplay's world tour which will also include Manila and Bangkok on Jan 19 and Feb 3 respectively.
The band will have their debut concert in Malaysia this Nov 22 at Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil.
