KUALA LUMPUR: Actress and radio announcer Che Puan Sarimah Ibrahim believes that married people who invite third parties to "wreck" their marriages are equally marriage-wreckers or "penyondol".
In a TikTok video of her radio station Kool FM yesterday Sarimah said that it was not fair for Malaysians to put all the blame on the third party for it "took two hands to clap".
"In my honest opinion the married person who opens his or her door wide for the home-wrecker to come in is also a 'penyondol', both are to blame for wrecking the marriage," she said.
Sarimah who is now starring in the drama series Lelaki Itu on TV3 added that single people should not get too close to married people, and at the same time married people should refrain from "making advances" at others.
"If a married person approached me, I would keep my distance from him, and not give him space to wreck my marriage," she said.
On Monday, veteran actress Datin Fadilah Mansor urged netizens not to label "the other woman" in a man's life as a marriage-wrecker for he was equally guilty of doing so.
