#Showbiz: Isma Aliff's Raya wish is for children to visit him

KUALA LUMPUR: Marah-Marah Sayang actor Isma Aliff's Hari Raya wish is to be reunited with his son and daughter.

The 60-year-old singer and actor who was popular in the 1980s said in an interview with Harian Metro yesterday that he was praying hard for his children Nor Ismalina and Mohd Alif to visit him.

Isma or Muhammad Latiff Ismail said that he had tried contacting his children many times but could not reach them.

"It's been more than a year that I've not been able to get them. We didn't have a falling out, I never got angry with them," he said.

Isma's daughter lives in the Klang Valley with her husband while his son is in Perak with his wife.

"I pray that they will drop by at my house for Raya. They are always welcome. I won't get angry with them."

Isma, who suffered a stroke last December said that his condition had greatly improved.

He is undergoing therapy at home with help from his sister Shamsidah Ismail and can speak "a lot better now".

"I'll be off to see the doctor next month for follow-up treatment," he said.
