#SHOWBIZ: Jojo of One Nation Emcees dies at 50

KUALA LUMPUR: One Nation Emcees group member Nur Hasan Balas, better known as Jojo, died after collapsing at the Sri Petaling Mosque in Selangor, this morning.

According to BH Online, Mimi Fly, a former One Nation Emcees member, announced the sad news of the 50-year-old artiste's passing when contacted.

Mimi, however, was unable to share further details because she was still awaiting the results of Jojo's autopsy report.

She said that Jojo was at the Sri Petaling Mosque to attend a tabligh group meeting.

"When the event was about to end and the attendees were praying, he collapsed.

"I don't know yet where he will be buried. I am still waiting for information," she said.

Mimi added: "I just contacted his wife. She said that Jojo had told her he wanted to be buried close to where he dies."

"So, we are still waiting to find out where his remains will be put to rest."

Mimi said his wife and children were going to the Sri Petaling Mosque from Taiping, Perak.

She also shared that Jojo had suffered a stroke.
