#SHOWBIZ: Nabil admits oversight, claims it was accidental

SHAH ALAM: Popular host Nabil Ahmad is asking for netizens to pray for him so that he will be more careful in releasing videos on social media.

This follows a recent video call screenshot that went viral, which featured his wife, Zira Ayob, not covering her aurat (parts of the body that must be covered in Islam).

"Pray for me not to release videos like that and to be more careful in the future, God willing," he told Harian Metro.

When asked about the video's spread, the host of the Gegar Vaganza programme said he did not notice that Zira had not covered her aurat completely during the video call.

"I didn't notice. I saw that she seemed to be wearing a hijab. It was accidental and unintentional.

"I thought that she was wearing a complete hijab. I just found out that this thing went viral.

"I was the one who asked the radio station to upload it because I thought that she was wearing a hijab," said Nabil when met at the Duta Jakel 'Meet & Greet' session, here, today.
