#SHOWBIZ: Fattah defends Fazura after Fatima's video goes viral

PETALING JAYA: Actor Fattah Amin has asked all parties not to speculate, including blaming his ex-wife, Nur Fazura, regarding a video involving his beloved daughter, Nur Fatima Aisya, which went viral recently.

Fattah, whose full name is Abdul Fattah Mohd Amin, said he believed that as a mother, Fazura had done her best to raise Fatima.

"I believe Fazura has done her job as a mother and raised her daughter well. She is Fatima's mother, so netizens should not make inappropriate comments about her.

"Don't be quick to make assumptions. You have to always think positively and say good things because that is also a prayer," he said when met at the Rissa Skin X Fattah Amin press conference at a hotel in the capital, yesterday.

Fattah thinks that the issue arose because netizens did not know the facts and only made judgments based on what they saw.

"I don't blame netizens for making these types of comments because those who are speaking don't know the real situation and are just making assumptions.

"I met Fatima, but there were times when I didn't upload anything on social media. I'm not the type of person who likes to share personal matters.

"My posts are usually more about work," he said.

Commenting on his daughter's reaction of allegedly being sulky towards him, Fattah described it as normal for a four-year-old child.

"As is usual with four-year-olds, they are naive. We can't predict what will come out of their mouths.

"When I met Fatima a few days ago, she was okay. I asked her if she loved me and she said she loved Daddy."

"A four-year-old is not like an adult," he said.

Earlier, a video post showing Fatima saying the words 'I don't want Daddy' and 'I don't love Daddy' during Fazura's live session captured the attention of netizens.

Following this, many criticised the actress, claiming that Fatima seemed to be taught to say those words.

Fattah also received criticism when it was said that the tall actor had not visited his daughter for a long time, which made Fatima sullen.
