As a Malaysian accustomed to the tropical warmth of southeast Asia, the idea of venturing into such a frozen world seems like a distant dream. I've explored much of China — immersing myself in Shanghai's vibrant culture, admiring Guizhou's natural beauty and uncovering Liaoning's historical treasures.
But this journey is different; this time, I will be trading Malaysia's warm, humid air for the icy embrace of Dongbei's winter.
