Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia sold 12,261 cars in H1 2022

KUALA LUMPUR: Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), the official local distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles, reportedly sold 12,261 cars in the first half of 2022.

This was a 63 per cent growth compared to the same period in 2021 according to chief executive officer Shinya Ikeda.

He said during the opening of their latest 3S Centre (sales, service and spare parts) showroom in Rawang, that MMM estimates their market share at 4 per cent while retaining its top three spots as the non-national brands in Malaysia.

"Congratulation to Lofty Ambition for opening another Mitsubishi Motors showroom. We have been business partners since 2014 and this goes to show the company's confidence and commitment to further strengthen Mitsubishi's brand presence in Malaysia.

"This new showroom is to serve our customers better in the Klang Valley as we see a huge potential for business growth, especially for the Triton pick-up truck and Xpander seven-seater crossover," he added.

This is Lofty Ambition's fourth Mitsubishi Motors outlet with the first three in Ipoh, Taiping, and Sitiawan respectively. It is Mitsubishi Motor's 16th dealer outlet in the Klang Valley.

The new 3S centre is a three-story shop lot with a built-up area of 4,000 sqft, a fully-equipped service center with service bays, and a customer lounge with WIFI.

It is open from Monday to Saturday from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm and on Sunday from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm.
