GEORGE TOWN: GURNEY Plaza kicked off the festive season with the Royal Fairy Tale Musical Show recently.
Hopeful and magical, the show tells the story of Prince Herbert and his true love, Princess Kiana, and how the curse of the evil Red Fairy was finally broken.
The show’s six-member cast are from Adelaide, Australia.
They choreographed the dance steps and even composed some of the songs to spread Christmas joy at the mall.
Shoppers enjoyed the colourful and happily ever after fairy tale and musical show which was packed with songs and dances.
The show took place at the mall’s central atrium at 2pm and 6.30pm daily until Dec 21.
The mall gave fifty complimentary passes to the public which enabled them to have their pictures taken with the cast before they went on stage.
The mall is also organising a Little Princess costume contest for children aged between 5 and 10 where they are required to dress up as the prince and princesses of their dreams.
Visitors are encouraged to snap a picture of the dazzling Christmas decorations and upload it to Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #GParoyalchristmas from now until Dec 28.
The lucky winner will receive a Tony Moly Christmas set worth RM330.
