Van Cleef & Arpels unveil Frivole spring collection

IN anticipation of springtime, renowned French jeweller Van Cleef & Arpels is revisiting the popular Frivole™ collection.

The luminous collection, known for its blooming graphic flower model and design, complements the creation ranging from single flowers to shimmering bouquets.

Inspired by floral motifs and nature’s constant metamorphoses, the springtime Frivole™ collection depicts the vitality of its movement and its myriad nuances and forms as an homage to beauty, straight from the creative work by its craftsmen at the Maison.

The mirror polishing technique, used since the 1920s further enrich its gold glitters and create intense reflections, suffusing each piece with unique vitality that makes Frivole™ collection a treasure not to be missed.

Starting 20 March 2017, Frivole™ collection will showcase nine new creations with original gold variation, and newly minted bracelet will be added to the collection. Each model is beautifully arranged with three-dimensional heart-shaped petals fixed with diamonds. For spring, yellow gold paved with diamonds makes its appearance in the collection, with small model earrings, a large model pendant and a Between the Finger™ ring.

Frivole™ yellow gold and diamonds

With lightness of touch, the flowers unfurl their stylised petals in single corollas or bouquets. Yellow gold – evoking the style of the 1950s – sparkles with a sun-like glow, enhanced by the luminosity of a diamond heart.

Frivole™ white gold and diamonds

The white gold and diamond creations illuminate the skin like so many freshly blossomed flowers. Mirror polishing accentuates the metal’s sparkle and magnifies the brilliance of the petals.
