SERI ISKANDAR: Police are wrapping up their probe soon on claims that six teenagers were bullied by their seniors at the Parit Mara Junior Science College on May 5.
District police chief Supt Mohamad Zainal Abdullah said the police are completing the investigation paper on the case.
“We received six police reports from all six victims on May 6. The suspects have been suspended from the school.
“'We will submit the IPs to the deputy public prosecutor soon,” he told reporters at the
Perak Tengah District Headquarters (IPD) here.
Six Form Two students aged 14 were allegedly left bruised after being physically bullied by a number of seniors, aged between 15 and 16.
The incident allegedly began when one of the victims had refused to lend his football boots to the suspect, triggering the assault.
Mohamad Zainal clarified that no serious injuries were reported, and that the school has provided counselling to the students involved.
Police have also recorded statements from the suspects.
