Kidnapped 'Datuk Seri' businessman found dead in Rawang

RAWANG: Police discovered the body of a businessman with a 'Datuk Seri' title among shrubs at Batu 27, Jalan Rawang Bestari Jaya here, this morning.

Selangor Criminal Investigations Department chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Datuk Fadzil Ahmat said the body of the 55-year-old was found at about 9am.

"Police had received a report that the victim was kidnapped on June 10.

"The victim was kidnapped while exercising at a playground in Jalan Persiaran Perdana, Bandar Sri Damansara, Petaling Jaya, at 10.30am," he said in a statement.

He added that police are continuing their investigation at the location where the body was found.
