The JSLC was established as a group of elite student leaders and exceptional young talents from Johor schools.
It was initiated by the Johor Education Department (JPNJ) and the Iskandar Regional Development (IRDA), and receives firm support from the Johor state government.
The establishment of the JSLC was not only to hone leadership skills among Johor's top students, but also to mobilise the “internationalisation of schools’ programmes”.
JSLC is based on the principle of “for the students, by the students,” which signifies its ability to empower youths to plan, organise and mobilise huge programmes that can produce competitive human capital able to strive and compete on any platform.
The organising committee of the conference comprises 20 members from the JSLC Cohort 10, who proudly took up the challenge of organising an international event of this magnitude.
Those interested to learn more about the conference or who want to participate can follow JSLC via Facebook at JSLC COHORT 10 or by visiting www.jslcouncil.com.
