KUALA LUMPUR: As part of its initiatives to help the underprivileged during Ramadan, SELGATE Healthcare Sdn Bhd has donated RM30,000 to the children and management of Maahad Tahfiz Riyadhul Jannah and Rumah Bakti Nur Ain.
The donation was in conjunction with the launch of its second physical outlet at Evo Mall Bangi during a "buka puasa" event yesterday.
A total RM 10,000 was donated to Maahad Tahfiz Riyadhul Jannah, and another RM10,000 for Rumah Bakti Nur Ain while another RM10,000 will be distributed as "duit raya" to the children.
SELCARE Pharmacy's chief executive officer and chairman, Noor Hisham Mohd Gouth launched the opening of its second outlet and was accompanied by SELGATE Corporation Sdn Bhd chairman, Dr Nor Fuad bin Abdul Hamid, and SELGATE Foundation chairman, Tan Sri Datuk Dr Yahya Awang.
The event also included a photoshoot session and a tour for guests comprising of SELCARE Pharmacy's Board members, SELGATE Healthcare Sdn Bhd and SELGATE Corporation Sdn Bhd on the new SELCARE Pharmacy Store.
The D-Virtual Park virtual theme park in the mall will also sponsor two tokens each to 20 children from Maahad Tahfiz Riyadhul Jannah to enjoy a digital experience.
