KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang) chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has arrived at Istana Negara for an audience with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
A sports utility vehicle (SUV) with Dr Mahathir was seen entering the palace at 1.59pm, via Gate 2.
Earlier today, Pas deputy president Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man also had an audience with the King, followed by MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
Also scheduled for an audience later today is Parti Warisan Sabah president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.
Political party leaders have been called separately for an audience with the King starting yesterday until tomorrow, concerning the country's current situation.
Yesterday, four political leaders were granted an audience with the King, starting with Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, followed by PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim; DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng and Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) president Mohamad Sabu.
