KUALA LUMPUR: The Embassy of Mexico in Malaysia is presenting a virtual art exhibition called "Creation Modes" that will showcase unconventional and revolutionary art pieces from Mexican artists.
The exhibition, which will run throughout June 2021, is a collaborative project between O/A Timeless Room creations in collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico in Malaysia.
Creation Modes will display the creative process of five contemporary Mexican artists who break schemes, namely Rodrigo de La Sierra, Francisco Esnayra, Jacobo Alonso, Miguel Ángel Carrera and José Miguel Howe.
"Generally, when we talk about a work of art, we refer to the result, something that was already conceived and that somehow when shown has an end point.

"The interest in the means of creation of the work makes us wonder - what is the origin of a work? What does the artist have in mind when developing it? Where does it come from - a situation, an obsession or a problem?
"Creation Modes allows us to imagine the various paths to reach the work of five contemporary Mexican artists who break schemes," the embassy said in a statement.
Creative Modes, it said, allows people to explore the pre-conception of these artists' work and the expression they emit in different materials, such as bronze, resin, ceramics, wood carving and felt.
