3,251 new Covid-19 cases recorded as of noon today

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia recorded 3,251 new Covid-19 cases as of noon today, said Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

He said the country had logged cumulative caseloads of 2,783,331 coronavirus infections since the pandemic struck in 2020.

He added that detailed daily Covid-19 data would be updated on CovidNow at www.covidnow.moh.gov.my after midnight.

This is the fourth consecutive day that the daily Covid-19 infections breached the 3,000 mark with 3,381 cases logged on Friday, Thursday (3,543) and Wednesday (3,270).

Daily cases were below 3,000 between Jan 2 and Jan 4.
