KUALA LUMPUR: The next of kin of the 24 victims who were killed in Friday's landslide at the Father's Organic Farm near Jalan Batang Kali-Gohtong have claimed the bodies of their loved ones.
Hulu Selangor police chief Superintendent Suffian Abdullah confirmed this today. He said the last three bodies that were at the Sungai Buloh Hospital's forensic department had been claimed by their next of kin at 9pm.
"The three were a husband and wife as well as their 3-year-old son," he said as reported by Berita Harian.
In the 2.42am landslide tragedy, 24 were killed, nine are still missing and 61 were saved.
The bodies were sent to the Sungai Buloh Hospital for identification and post-mortem before their families claimed them for funeral process.
The search and rescue operation is still on-going to locate the nine missing victims.
