KUALA TERENGGANU: Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub is reported to be in stable condition at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital (HSB), here.
Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa said she was constantly monitoring the development and condition of the Pulai Member of Parliament.
"Today, God willing, I will go to visit him and his condition is reported to be stable but quite critical and we pray together, God willing, that he will be healthy.
"The surgery that was performed yesterday, Alhamdulillah, was successful and we are monitoring his situation in the ICU.
"He is still in the ICU (and) under close monitoring by our medical team," she said when met by reporters after the state level Madani Afiat & One Hour Malaysia Clean Up Programme in Padang Hiliran, today.
Salahuddin, who is also Amanah deputy president,was admitted to the hospital on Fridayafter complaining of being unwell and vomiting.
Doctors confirmed that there was bleeding in his brain and he was able to undergo surgery yesterday.
