#NSTviral: Tombstones used to prop up roadside fence spark online reactions

MELAKA: An unusual roadside fence in Bukit Senjuang, Melaka, supported by tombstones, has sparked reactions from passers-by and netizens.

The video, originally posted by Instagram user @otamblurr, captures the unusual sight as he drives by, showing his amusement at the unconventional use of unused gravestones.

While some might expect people to chime in offended, most netizens were equally amused by the sight.

"You'll repent as soon as you pass by," joked user halisac.

"If I pass by this at night, I'll turn back around," said user dyeanadia.

"I wanted to laugh when I drove past, but I didn't know if I should. It's crazy that they used them to prop up a fence," recalled user dee_henna.

In fact, Melaka locals recognised the longstanding 'landmark', whose whimsical nature reflects their can-do spirit.

"Finally, this fence is noticed. Melaka people are one of a kind," said user zeeziizet.

"Melaka people are really like this," said user ezeealias.
